Oddities: s3e10

Season 3: Episode 10 - Losing the Light At the mediation when Dylan's lawyer plays the video that Dylan made of Helena supposedly sexually harassing her, you may notice that things looks rather different from episode 9. If you watch both scenes then it's quite obvious that they used a different and IMO inferior take in episode 10. There are a number of obvious differences, which I shall endeavour to explain. The most obvious difference, and the one that tipped me off that things were not right is that Helena's stress on the words is different. I've used italics below to denote the stress. On the video tape in episode 10 she says: "You're gonna fuck me, and you're gonna love every second of it." whereas in episode 9 Helena says: "You're gonna fuck me, and you're gonna love every second of it." In episode 9 she has her hand on Dylan's leg while she's saying the above line. Whereas Helena is rather more forceful in the video in episode 10. In episode 10 she has both hands at the waistband of Dylan's jeans and pulls her forward as she is saying the line. The rest of the dialogue is also slightly different, hence that part of the scene is about 10 seconds shorter in episode 10 than in episode 9: Helena: "Tell me you want it." Helena: "Tell me!" Dylan: "I can't." Helena: "Tell Me." In episode 10, Helena only says "Tell me" after Dylan has replied "I can't."
